The Wheels on the Bus

I have a couple of posts that I'm working on but most of my pics are on the computer at home & I felt like I needed to post something before people start thinking that I'm going to go MIA for another 6 months!

Carson is NOT a fan of being in the car, never has been probably never will be. He is getting better but there are definitely times that he lets you know that he is not happy about being strapped in the car seat. Then Keegan usually saves the day! Seriously, he really does. I could not ask for a better big brother for Carson because he is just that good at his "job" and Carson thinks he is the funniest person ever. Whenever Carson starts with one of his fits in the car Keegan starts singing to him and this is what happens {make sure your volume is turned up}....

Yes, I'm aware that it is sideways, I may or may not have been recording while driving!

Capturing the Moment

When Carson turned 6 months we had some family pictures taken. I decided not to use my usual photographer because I wasn't extremely pleased with Carson's newborn pics so I asked my cousin {who is awesome & photography just comes natural to her} to take some pics for me.

 I love, love, love the way the pics turned out! I think it might have to do with having two of the most adorable kids ever! Seriously, I we make some cute little boys!

I had pictures taken of Keegan when he was 6 months in this same shirt & doing the same pose! I wish I had them on the computer to do a comparison!

Keegan wanted in on the action too! {I swear my kids are complete camera hogs!}

Ahh, I died over the cuteness from these!!

These are my absolute favorite two of Carson!! 

Seriously, those dimples, that toothless smile, those eyes & those chubby, roly poly arms....be still my heart!!

 Total cuteness overload, right?!?! Seeing them like that almost makes me want to go for baby #3, then I come back to reality!

A lot has happened over here the past 6 months but I'm not going to go into detail on everything because let's be honest, you would fall asleep! Plus, I can't remember everything, I'm lucky I remember what days the boys need to take a bath! 

We will just do an update through pictures!

We learned how to sit up on our own, started eating big boy food & graduated from the baby tub to the kitchen sink....

 We went up north to visit Ryan's sister. Of course the boys were up early in the morning so we headed to the park so we wouldn't wake up the entire house!

 

Carson had his first trip to Chuck E Cheese, he wasn't too impressed!

 

Wasn't a fan of the grass either!

We went to the St. Louis Science Center on Mother's Day.....

It had been a couple of years since we had been there and it changed big time. Honestly, I don't like it as much anymore, it just wasn't as fun as it use to be.

We went to stock car races, baseball games and picnics......

 

I made deviled eggs for the first time ever! I was also scared to try it because I thought it was hard or something but it was super easy & sooo good!

 

We did a little updating in the front yard...nothing big just removing dead plants!

We went to the zoo.

Played with some new "big boy" toys.

We had our first day of preschool. 

 {sigh} When did he get this big?!?!

We have started daily wrestling matches.

Of course there was a lot more and some other stuff that I will do separate posts on but at least you get some updated pics of the boys. I mean the last time I posted Carson was only 5 months old, now he is 10 months!! Where has the time gone?!?!

So What!

I haven't gotten around to writing an update post on what has been going on around here the last 6 months {yes 6, I thought it had been like 3 months since I last blogged but I looked last night & it has been 6!!} so I'm going to take the easy way out and link up with Shannon over at LAID for some So What Wedensday fun!

* So what if I didn't blog for half a year not because I didn't have anything to write about but because I was too lazy to actually get on blogger and take the time to write something.

*So what if I buy a coffee from McDonalds almost every.single.morning during the week when I have a perfectly good Keurig I can use sitting on my counter!

*So what if I take pictures of my kids crying/throwing fits because I think it's funny. Sometimes they are just too cute when they make those pitiful faces....

*So what if I spent almost the same amount of money on three pieces of running gear as a week's worth of daycare. I deserved them!

*So what if Keegan's clean clothes have been sitting on the floor in the laundry basket for almost a week now. It's totally acceptable for 4 year olds to wear wrinkled clothes, right? I mean they are just going to get wrinkled from running around playing all day anyways!

*So what if I sometimes take a week off from running & eating healthy, sometimes I just need a break....and it's really nice to be lazy at night & eat whatever my heart stomach desires!

*So what if I did something that I said I would never do.....

 

Yep, I used one of those ridiculously large carts at Target. Carson does NOT sit well in the carts, always climbing around trying to get out, so I thought I would give this one a shot. Not sure if I will use it again but it was nice that Keegan was able to give him some snacks the whole time!

*So what if I have been obsessed with planning the boys' birthday parties for a couple of months now but still haven't bought a single thing for them.....
