Thankful Thursday

I decided {after seeing some other blogs do something similar} to do a "Thankful Thursday" every Thursday for this month. I thought it would be nice to do and maybe it will help me realize all of the little things that I really am thankful for but might take for granted sometimes. And yes, I'm sure some of my items will be materialistic things but I'm still thankful for them!

For starters, I'm thankful for my wonderful little family.

All though there are times when they drive me completely insane, I wouldn't trade them for the world! I'm thankful that I have a healthy little boy and an amazing husband that does whatever he needs in order to make sure that we are taken care of.

I'm thankful for having an endless supply of Diet Dr. Pepper in my life! Seriously...I can't live without caffeine and this is my weapon of choice to help me with my addiction! It use to be good 'ole regular Dr. Pepper that I chose to drink but I decided to make the switch earlier this year for the obvious 0 calories thing that the diet version offers.

I'm thankful to have a job right now! There are many people out there that have lost their jobs and have not been able to find a new one in this wonderful economy that we are living in right now. Although I might complain about my job a lot, I'm still bringing home money to help support my family {and my weekly shopping trips to Target} and that is something to be thankful about.

I'm thankful for a good pair of jeans {told you some might be materialistic}!! There is nothing, I repeat nothing better that a perfect pair of jeans that fit you like they were made just for your body. And if you are one of those lucky people that find that in every pair of jeans....I hate you! Ok, I might not actually hate you but I'm definitely a little envious!!

I'm thankful for our house!

This, of course, is not our dream house by any means and although after living there for only a year I'm ready for a new house already I feel very fortunate that we are able to have our own home.

Now it's your turn, what are you thankful for?!

This is perfect for November! Good idea. I might have to copy.
Be extremely thankful for a husband who goes above and beyond for his family. It's tough when it's the other side of the road.
I am thankful for those jeans too. And I hate those b***hes who can wear "anything." barf.
