WTF?!?!?!

I have no idea what is wrong will the previous post and the stupid layout!!! That is not what it looked like when I posted it & I've changed it like 10 times this morning and blogger won't keep the changes! WTF?! Now I'm reminded on why I haven't bothered with posting lately!! Sorry that it looks all funky but it won't let me do anything about it!!

Yes, I'm still alive...

Did you think I disappeared?! I probably would of if I were you but no worries, I'm still here and don't plan on going anywhere for a while! I'm going to blame my lack of posting on our very temper mental Internet and my lack of commenting on your blogs on Internet Explorer...anyone know how I go about getting FireFox on my computer?! Ok, now onto the real reason for this post....

Bump Update

How Far Along: 17 weeks 4 days

Total Weight Gain/Loss: honestly, the word "loss" should not even be on here but that's just my opinion! As far as the gaining part 11 pounds so far.

Maternity Clothes: all pants are maternity and still wearing a mixture of maternity & regular shirts {mostly regular still}

Gender: we have an idea thanks to the ring test but it will be confirmed on July 14th!!

Movement: Feeling little bubbles/butterflies since 15 weeks but not very consistant yet, I can't wait for the "real" kicks!

Sleep: sucks!!! I'm constantly tossing & turning all night long and wake up like 3529547 times a night...however naptime during the day is good!

What I miss: nothing really

Symptoms: none {thank God} and sometimes I don't even feel pregnant!

Cravings: any kind of frozen drink...slushies, smoothies, icees...want them all.the.time.

Best Moment this week: hearing the baby's heartbeat today!! Oh, I can't forget a Keegan quote "when the baby cries at night it is going to wake me up, then I'm going to have to yell your name or daddy's name" guess he will be our baby monitor!

That wasn't so bad....

I can't believe I'm going to say this but camping wasn't that bad considering that I was outside 24/7, slept in a tent, had no tv, raccoons were around our camp site & I got a million mosquito bites {well that part might be a little exaggerated}!!

In all seriousness, as much as I was dreading this camping trip it really turned out to be a great weekend and I'm completely, 100% positive that it is because the weather was so beautiful! It seriously need not feel like June at all....I could have done without the rain but it didn't last too long and we had a canopy to sit under so we didn't actually get wet. Plus, the weather was so nice that I didn't even get hot in the tent at night and I had to turn the fan off because I got cold {note to self: always bring an extra blanket just in case the weather is unusually cool}.

We got to the campsite around 6 on Friday night and got everything all set up right away so we could enjoy the rest of the night sitting around the fire.

Our tent {and Keegan's bike}....it's a lot bigger on the inside than it looks! And I'm just going to add now that I'm sooo happy that I ended up getting that double air mattress, that thing was so comfortable and Ryan even said that it was a lot better than just a regular air mattress {yep, I was right again}.

It stormed late Friday night and rained Saturday morning so we didn't do much then, just kinda sat around doing nothing. Once the rain stopped it & the sun came out Saturday was absolutely beautiful out!! The guys went fishing for awhile and then after lunch we headed to the beach to go swimming & play in the sand.

Keegan absolutely loved camping and didn't want to leave! I have a feeling we will be doing a lot more of it from now on...not sure about the rest of this summer though, unless I'm guaranteed to have amazing weather again!!

The best part about this camping trip {besides seeing Keegan so happy} was that I felt the baby move for the first time!! I've been feeling it more and more since then but still not on a regular basis yet.

Confession Friday

Usually I'm all about it being Friday but today I'm not sure if I should be excited or not because today means we are going camping!! I'm not typically the camping type much less while pregnant in 90 degree weather!! Please say a prayer for me!! I will admit that Keegan is super excited about going which makes it not so bad. Ok, enough of me complaining about camping, let's get to the confessions.

I confess that Keegan has way too many shoes for only being 3 1/2. Seriously, he has 6 pairs of flip flops, 2 pairs of sandals, 4 pairs of tennis shoes, cowboy boots, rain boots, nice black shoes & nice brown shoes....and that doesn't count the couple of pairs that are still too big for him!!

I confess that I took Keegan to the pool for the first time this year the other day and I got a sunburn on my freshly peeled skin from the first sunburn that I got!! Whoops! I was just trying to get rid of the funky tan lines I had on my back/shoulders!!

I confess that I laid in bed last night before I fell asleep thinking about all of the confessions I was going to give today and now I can't think of a single one of them.

I confess that if you were to stop by my house at any given time within the last two days you would have seen Keegan in nothing but his underwear. He kept saying he wasn't ready to get dressed and that wasn't a battle I wanted to fight!

I confess that I haven't even started on the next post about our vacation yet! =/ It's just so time consuming with having to upload all of those pictures and I haven't had the motivation to do it yet....who knows when I will get them up, maybe by the end of the summer?!

I confess that I just realized that the saying in the header is missing a word!! It should say "the ups, the downs and everything in between as we figure out our way through life"....whoops!! And it only took me how many months to figure that out?!

I confess that every single time I get an email about some awesome sale going on at Children's Place or Crazy 8 it makes me wish I knew what baby P is even more!! I can't wait to start shopping!!

I confess that I'm super excited that my mom will be in town in July & I just might be able to get my ultrasound done while she is here so she can see baby too!!

I confess that I can't find my old memory stick for my camera!! I changed it in the car on the way to the airport before we left for Disneyland and I have no idea where the old one is!! I'm starting to think that it got thrown away with the Target bag somehow....and to top it off it had a ton of pictures on it that I never downloaded onto the computer!! Guess we won't ever see the pictures from Easter 2011!! =/

Ok, that's enough from me today!! I have lots to do before we actually leave so I need to get my butt up off the chair and actually be productive today!!

So now I get to share 7 random things about myself with you, let's see if I can think of some things that I haven't already shared.

1. I don't like pie, well I like peach pie but that's about it. Oh and cheesecake since that is technically a "pie".

2. I organize my closet by sleeveless shirts, short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts then dresses but only my half of the closet, the hubs side is all mixed up because when I have organized his side he never keeps it going so I pretty much gave up on it.

3. I don't know how to drive a stick shift and frankly, I don't really want to know how. Why would I want to drive a car where I have to worry about shifting the gears & pushing in the clutch at the right time when I can drive a car by simply putting it in drive and going?!

4. I hate watching the previews before movies!! Whenever we rent movies it goes straight to the main menu!

5. I love garlic! It's by far my favorite spice ever and I add it to pretty much anything that will taste good with some added to it.

6. I might be one of the only people on this planet that doesn't have an ipod or any form of it.

7. I'm pretty anal when it comes to how things are done and things being in the right spot. Seriously, Ryan will not dust the house because he knows I will just go behind him and move everything. I'm trying to get better at things not being done the way I would like them to but it is definitely a work in progress!!

Fifty Percent Chance

We are going camping this weekend and this is what the foercast is calling for....

No need to check your eyes, that is rain for Friday & Saturday {and on the weather channel app on my phone it's actually calling for rain on Sunday too}....nice.

Dear God,

I'm begging you to not make it rain this weekend!! It would also be great if it wouldn't get too hot out {I would be a much happier camper if I wasn't completely miserable the whole time & I'm sure everyone I will be around will like me a lot better if I wasn't a grumpy preggo all weekend}.

Confession Friday

I'm not going to lie, it totally doesn't feel like Friday and if you would of asked me what day of the week it is I probably would have said Thursday or something...I'm obviously still all out of whack from our trip!

I confess that I have been a total slacker all week and my house desperately needs to be cleaned!! Ryan asked me last night if I could clean the bathroom today! =/

I confess that blogger is really starting to piss me off! I can't comment on anyone's blog {even though I have tried to like 394587 times}, not even my own, and I'm having a hard time get any pictures on here!! Everytime I try to upload them I get the "security error" or whatever the hell it says and no picture!! WTF?!?!?! Am I the only one having problems with this?

I confess that if you open my refrigerator right now you will see a cup from Arby's that has been in there since Monday...and it's empty! Why is it in there you ask...well that would be because of my wonderful husband and I'm waiting to see how long it takes him to throw it away. {I took a picture of it for you too but it won't upload}

I confess that we are going camping next weekend and even though we already had an air mattress I bought a new one the other day...it's one of those nice really high ones. I mean if you think my pregnant ass is going to sleep on a regular air mattress where when you get two adults on it you are practically touched the ground you are out of your mind {and yes, my husband thought I was going to sleep on that....he's lucky I'm even going camping while pregnant in JUNE}

I confess that this morning while I was still laying in bed Keegan asked me if he could get dressed and go to grandma's house.

I confess that I finally used my gift card for a massage that I got for Valentine's day last night...and I didn't tell Ryan that an hour prenatal massage is more expensive than an hour regular massage...but I will be getting at least one more before this baby comes!

I confess that we did the ring test the other night to see if baby is a boy or a girl and we aren't telling anyone what the results were....just going to have to wait until the ultrasound in July! I will say that we did it when I was pregnant with Keegan and it was right that time so I have a good feeling it is right this time too!

I confess that when I picked up my new prescription that I got for my headaches I was a little taken back because it's tylenol with codeine. I mean obviously it's ok to take it and it won't hurt the baby or else my dr. would prescribe it but I was definitely surprised when I saw "codeine".

I confess that I was super excited that I had only gained 2 pounds at my dr. appointment on Wednesday so I had a sourdough jack & 2 tacos from Jack in the Box for lunch....I didn't eat the whole cheeseburger though!

I confess that I have no idea when I will do another pose about our Disney trip since blogger is being a jackass and not letting me upload pictures.

Vacation

I know you are jumping out of your seat with excitement that I'm finally getting around to posting about our trip but don't get too excited because I'm definitely not going to be able to get it all in one post....well I probably could but you would have to take a couple of bathroom breaks and probably even stop reading to get something to eat because it would be seriously be forever long. {and just so you know, I'm totally postponing cleaning the bathrooms just so I can write this post!} Let's break it down by the day.....

Saturday

Of course the start of the trip wouldn't be the same if we weren't running around like crazy and making a stop at Target on the way to the airport. You see, I couldn't get my pictures downloading from my camera to the computer so I decided to just buy a new memory card a few days before we left....well it turns out I bought the wrong one, apparently my camera takes a memory stick and the only time I had to go back was on the way to the airport. Plus, Ryan insisted on taking his yellow polo shirt with us, which was one of the only things that ended up not getting washed when I washed all of our clothes before packing, so he decided to wash it himself and when I got it out of the dryer there were black spots all over it....so the last minute Target run was for a memory stick and a new yellow polo.

We finally made it to the airport and Keegan couldn't of been more excited. I was soo happy that he was excited about flying because his first airplane ride two years ago wasn't necessarily a good one!! We got to our gate, found some seats by the window and we spent the next hour and a half answering question after question as he was watching the airplanes.

He got even more excited when we actually got on the plane! We had to keep telling him to be quiet because he was so excited that his voice just kept getting louder and louder! I'm not going to lie, I was very grateful that we had a portable dvd player and headphones to keep him quiet occupied for two out of the three hours of the plane ride!

The plane ride was good and we safely landed in Phoenix. Once we got our bags and got out to the car my brother wanted to drive....he just turned 16 and doesn't actually have his license yet!! Let's just say I said a quick prayer before we got on the road!! We hung out at my mom's house for awhile then headed out for some yummy "real Mexican" food at one of my fav restaurants out there, Abuelo's.

After dinner we headed to Old Navy to do a little last minute shopping for my brother....um, since when did 16 year old boys become so difficult to buy clothes for?!?! He didn't like anything we picked out and refused to get plaid shorts!! We headed back home and relaxed the rest of the night since we would be getting up early for our 5 hour drive to Disneyland! Of course to trip would be complete without a little bit of drama....Keegan woke up in the middle of the night on Saturday and started throwing up like no other! Thankfully when he woke up in the morning he was feeling good again. 

Sunday

After our 5 hour drive through the desert & mountains and having pretty much nothing to look at we finally made it to our hotel!! When we were checking in, we were informed that they had our reservations but they only had one of our two rooms available for that first night. I don't get it, if you have had our reservations since March, how do you not have one of the rooms available?!?! Since they screwed up they told us that they would give us a two room suite for the same nightly price as one of the regular rooms for our whole stay plus free parking....deal!! We ended up only paying a little less than half of what we were expecting to pay plus our regular rooms had an adjoining door so we basically had the same setup! Once we got all of our stuff to our room we headed to Downtown Disney.

Downtown Disney is a "little" area outside of the park where they have lots of different stores and restaurants....this part is open to the public so basically anyone can go there.

We had to stop and take a picture of him on Mickey's head! He thought those benches were sooo funny!! We walked around for a little bit, stopped in the Lego store and then headed to the ESPN Zone to play some games and eat some yummy food!! I should have taken a picture of the nachos that I got...seriously, it was one of the biggest piles of nachos I've ever seen, 2 or 3 of us could have shared them!

After all the games & food we headed back to the hotel so we could watch the fireworks that go off at Disneyland every night. Our hotel was right across the street so we were able to see the show perfectly from the third floor "breakfast room" since it was nothing but windows in the front.

Monday was our first day at the park....that will have to wait for another post!

Just a couple things....

I promise that I will get the post about our Disneylad trip up asap....it is either going to be forever long or I'm going to have to break into a couple posts.

Doctor's appointment went good this morning, well except for the heart attack I almost had when he couldn't find the baby's heart beat....seriously, worse feeling in the world!! He finally found it and it was perfect...baby is super low which I think is why he had a hard time finding it. I only gained 2 pounds in the last 4 weeks...woohoo!!! Oh...and he gave me a prescription for some meds to control my never ending headaches!!

I decided to stop in Motherhood Maternity to get some new bras.....however that was a big fail! Apparently they don't carry my size and well frankly my jaw hit the floor when she told me what size I actually needed!! She suggested a couple different places to go so after looking around I headed down the street to a different place. I don't know if anyone has been to this place before or not but I will say that I won't go back....Lactations {I think that's the name of it}. When I told the lady that I needed to get fitted for a bra it was no biggie, then she asked me when I'm due, the conversation when a little like this:

stupid lactation lady: when's your due date

me: December 3

stupid lactation lady: December 3?! Are you having twins??

me: umm...no!!

stupid lactation lady: are you sure?! you have one healthy baby then.

I knew instantly that I wasn't going to buy anything from her! I went ahead and tried stuff on though just for the hell of it and it was soo freakin hot in there I was practically sweating...I feel sorry for whoever has to try those bras on next! =/ After that I headed to Target and just got some regular bras {that were a ton cheaper} and will hopefully fit for a couple more months!

Which brings me to a question for all you mommies out there....where did you get your maternity/nursing bras at?! The ones I tried on today were absolutely hideous and I wouldn't be caught dead wearing on of them!! They made my boobs look like cones and they didn't really give me any kind of real support.

Another random question for the moms and/or the preggos out there....did your deodorant stop working while pregnant?! I've used the same exact kind of deodorant forever now and it has always worked really good but recently I feel like I stink all the time, and yes I put it on every day & I shower regularly! :) Are there any kind of deodorants that anyone can recommend using? Right now I use Dove.

I'm getting a massage tomorrow night & I couldn't be more excited about it!!

I haven't been able to comment on anyone else's blog even though other people have!! UGH!! It's driving me crazy!!
